About the role
Location: London, or Europe, based. 25 hours/wk with potential to expand to 40 hours/wk.
Job Type: Temp-to-Perm Opportunity. This is a temporary position through the end of the year, with the possibility to extend or move to a permanent role.
Chartis is looking for a Marketing Manager (Japan) to support one of our client’s Global Head of Brand and Recruitment Marketing, working closely with the APAC and EMEA Marketing Teams. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team and assist in managing marketing material development for our client's cultural partners. We seek someone who is comfortable working with both internal and external stakeholders and who has the ability to think strategically while also operating on a tactical level.
Duties and Responsibilities
Cultural Partner (CP) Marketing Management:
Work directly with APAC cultural partners to provide ongoing marketing support including:
- Serve as the main marketing point of contact for APAC cultural partners, providing tailored and ongoing support.
- Lead 1:1 marketing calls in English or Japanese, ensuring partners are confident and informed.
- Deliver marketing training sessions to help partners navigate our client's marketing tools and best practices.
- Manage custom marketing requests and coordinate with internal teams.
- Oversee standardized creative requests and support timely delivery across all APAC partners.
- Generate and manage QR codes for partners, ensuring accurate tracking and functionality.
- Maintain and update project management tools to keep teams aligned and workflows efficient.
- Liaise with external vendors for print production and other local delivery needs.
- Provide general project management and administrative support to ensure smooth execution across multiple workstreams.
Administrative Support:
- Handle tasks such as scheduling, archiving, vendor payments, and Google Drive management.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Japanese is essential.
- 5+ years of marketing experience in an agency, cultural or corporate environment.
- Interest in the arts and cultural sector.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in an agile environment and efficiently manage multiple tasks.
- A proactive mindset with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
