About the Role
Title: Manager, Supply Chain Product Strategy
Location: MA-Boston
Job Description:
Must be ONSITE in Boston, MA (Monday-Thursday)
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000 per year. The base salary offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Restricted stock units will be provided as part of the compensation package.
CastleGate is Wayfair's proprietary supply chain service that empowers suppliers to forward-position their inventory closer to customers, enabling fast, reliable, and cost-effective fulfillment. The CastleGate Product team is part of Wayfair's broader Network Management organization and is responsible for building and optimizing the CastleGate offering across our global network to ensure it creates value for Wayfair, our Suppliers and Customers. As a Manager on this team, you'll play a key role in shaping the roadmap (product strategy), driving operational improvements, and enabling value creation within our CastleGate Network.
What You'll Do
Product Strategy & Innovation
- Develop and scale product experiences that maximize the value proposition of CastleGate
- Build visibility into unit economics for CastleGate SKUs and identify high-opportunity product categories
- Partner with Product, Ops, and Tech to ensure our infrastructure supports all item profiles and fulfillment paths
Commercial Growth & Enablement
- Define and execute roadmaps in collaboration with Commercial to accelerate product adoption and promote services like Non-Standard Large Parcel
- Evaluate new service offerings and operational capabilities, balancing revenue potential with investment costs
- Operational Execution & Policy Development
- Own and project manage complex initiatives such as MCK improvements, inbound freight handling, and inventory noncompliance protocols
- Partner with Finance, GPS, and Commercial teams to define structured policies for discrepancies, chargebacks, and supplier accountability
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Serve as the central point of contact across multiple teams - aligning product roadmaps, operational execution, and commercial strategy
- Translate complex data into actionable recommendations, and communicate progress to senior stakeholders
What You'll Need
- 5 years of experience in supply chain, product strategy, consulting, or operations management; e-commerce experience preferred
- Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional programs and delivering measurable business results
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision-making; SQL knowledge is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a bias for action and ownership
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a highly collaborative team culture
- Experience managing teams
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree a plus
An Important Note about Wayfair's In-Office Policy: All Boston-based interns, Co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday - Thursday, and work remotely Friday.
