In this role the manager will lead all aspects of the day to day operations of the team. Develop, implement, and enforce programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Hybrid work schedule is supported.
What we are looking for:
Experience: 7 years’ relevant experience to include leadership experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Communications, or related field; or equivalent work experience (Two years’ relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)

What a day of a Manager would look like:
- Identify compliance and/or privacy risks and engages appropriate stakeholders around risk awareness and mitigation.
- Provide support to ensure actions/outcomes are aligned across all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with legal and other business teams, as well as external resources, to ensure all compliance and/or privacy-related matters are appropriately understood and enforced.
- Participate in strategic initiative discussions as a health plan compliance subject matter expert; provides guidance and input on new and existing state and federal laws and regulations that may impact strategy.
- Support critical initiatives for compliance, operational, financial, strategic, and reputational risks.
- Oversee the activities that influence the compliance and/or risk programs.
- Ensure analysis of federal and state regulations and guidance are performed and delivered to business teams. Oversees governance and implementation of new and changing regulations by business areas.
- Responsible for organizational assessment of HIPAA Privacy risk.
- Ensure company-wide regulatory training and education activities are effective and meet regulatory expectations.
- May investigate and resolve complaints and other concerns regarding information privacy and security.
- May represent the organization to regulators and other entities in government compliance matters.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range is $104,413 to $156,620. The position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus (variable depending on company and employee performance.
The pay range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, internal equity, geography, business or organizational needs, and alignment with market data. At Blue Cross of Idaho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for the position. Compensation decisions are dependent on factors and circumstances at the time of offer.
