Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. Strategic Customer Group is searching for the best talent for a Manager, Contract Strategy & Analytics. This role is based in Titusville, NJ.
Role Overview
The Manager, Contract Strategy & Analytics, will be responsible for the support and system/process improvements of SCG Contracting's process within the SAGE (Appian) system. The SAGE system contains different modules that support SCG Contracting processes and its stakeholders. The SAGE system launch has provided improved workflow efficiencies & visibility, greater contracting continuum connectivity, real-time insights & KPIs, & enhanced compliance controls to the organization. The goal of this role is to partner to support and refine SAGE to create a more efficient, effective user experience and robust metrics for enhanced performance reporting.
As a Manager, Contract Strategy & Analytics you will:
- Work directly with business partners to provide oversight and guidance on SCG Contracting processes within SAGE.
- Be the single point of contact for all SAGE enhancements, coordinate to gather requirements and support design development. Complete testing, deployment and communication of all enhancements[.
- Partner across the Appian platform to bring best practices to SAGE and find opportunities to integrate with other Appian applications and/or other J&J platforms to create efficiencies and better processes.
- Manage end-user access, governance policies and ensure compliance with organizational security standards. Maintain a deep understanding of system roles, security groups, and user permissions across platforms. Monitor data completeness/accuracy. Lead opportunities to drive data synchronization across Appian platforms (i.e. SCG, ECM, IT and others)
- Analyze trends in system issues and incidents to drive root cause resolution and reduce recurring issues.
- Be responsible for the ongoing management and maintenance of all SAGE SOPs, Training materials, analytics and technology solutions related to SAGE and provide training to SAGE end users.
- Lead the development of robust performance reporting capabilities within SAGE.
- Develop a regular cadence of KPI reporting to the SCG Contracting and SCG leadership.
- Continuously seek out and implement improvements to ensure the SAGE and KPI process is efficient, meets the needs of the business, and mitigates risk with commercial contract activity.
- Lead ad hoc and special projects on behalf of CS&A as necessary.
Qualifications
- A minimum of Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's or higher degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant business experience is required.
- Previous experience in a related systems, compliance or process improvement function is required.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and partner with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization is required.
- Knowledge and experience in the design and application of web-based reporting tools is preferred.
- The ability to identify and analyze situations, opportunities, and problems required. This includes the ability to initiate appropriate actions and solutions to maximize business effectiveness.
- Previous experience of performance and KPI reporting is preferred.
- Knowledge of managed markets, acute care and specialty channels is strongly preferred.
- Pharmaceutical business experience is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience leading projects/project management and guiding peers is strongly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, business acumen, organizational and communication skills
- Ideal candidate must be innovative, proactive and self-motivated to seek out opportunities to develop new and innovative solutions.
- Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time to domestic destinations.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $172,500.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis. ·
