Legal Operations Manager - Budapest

We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Operations Manager to join our expanding legal team. This role will collaborate closely with teams and departments across the company on developing legal & compliance frameworks for new and innovative products and services.
This role is a hybrid role and will be based in Budapest.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Ensure legal support for internal stakeholders.
- Support the legal team in drafting and negotiating various contracts and modifying existing contracts according to our guidelines.
- Join client calls and maintain contact with authorities and other external parties, as needed.
- Drive internal legal projects where substantial legal support is required.
- Manage, mentor and coach junior team members and lead by example.
- Systematize already signed documents and manage the contract database.
- Review agreements, focusing on privacy and IT security requirements, balancing business interests with clients' needs.
- Assist with applications for compliance certification and regulatory approval (e.g., e-gaming permits).
- Evaluate internal operational and procedural compliance.
- Communicate compliance policies and guidelines to the C-Suite and designated teams.
- Participate proactively in legal research, anticipating and identifying legal and regulatory risks.
- Remain up-to-date on relevant industry, consumer protection, advertising, IP, and privacy laws and regulations, including fraud prevention and money laundering.
- Research and monitor SaaS/Software industry compliance requirements (relevant regulations, standards, and frameworks).
- Train employees on industry compliance requirements.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Attorney qualifications under Hungarian Law, with 3-5 years of PQ working experience
- Previous experience managing and leading a small team
- Ability to communicate in English fluently
- Previous experience working with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment
- Previous experience managing and leading a small team
- Experience within the SaaS industry, would be ideal
- Experience in a start-up environment, would be ideal
