Overview

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for accuracy and efficiency? The offices of Lewis Brisbois are currently seeking experienced legal support professionals to provide high-level support to our legal teams across Central and West Coast courts.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, edit, and format complex legal documents, including pleadings for various state and federal courts, as well as appellate and bankruptcy
  • Create and manage Tables of Contents (TOCs) and Tables of Authorities (TOAs), using both manual methods and Best Authority
  • Conduct online research to verify court-specific filing requirements
  • Perform electronic filing (E-Filing) through ECF, PACER, and third-party platforms such as Lexis File & Serve
  • Utilize advanced tools in Adobe Acrobat Pro X, including creating fillable forms and converting PDFs to Word
  • Transcribe legal dictation (digital and analog formats)
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and legal staff to ensure timely and accurate document delivery

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of litigation experience in a law firm or legal department
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; Visio and Publisher a plus)
  • Familiarity with templates, macros, and legal formatting standards
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with iManage or similar document management systems
