Job Description Summary
The Finance Controllership Analyst will report directly to the Gas Power MYA Controller. In this position, you will deliver on operational and technical controllership excellence, representing the full spectrum of Gas Power CSA controllership, while demonstrating accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities :
As the Commercial Controllership Analyst you will:
- Provide Controllership own and oversee contract modification reviews and documentation of accounting assessment
- Partner with Region commercial teams and risk finance on commercial deals
- Support consolidation and reporting for quarter-end closing reviews and metrics
- Support ITO and ITR modeling policy updates
- Support the risk finance team on global pricing analytics and associated accounting policies
- Work with CSA modeling team, monitoring controls and process consistency
- Support the MYA risk finance with the quarterly deferred impairment reviews and documentation
- Govern accounting for commercial activity under ASC606
- Provide finance support for CSA actuals analysis, including recurring and ad hoc data requests
- Design and implement dashboard monitoring reports to ensure data accuracy and process standardization
- Support cash flow analysis
- Support external and internal audits
- Work in an open, team-oriented, and high-energy atmosphere to collaborate cross-functionally
- Work in multiple systems and tools, navigating through both accounting and operational processes
Qualifications/Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in finance, accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 2 year of work experience in a Finance or Accounting
Desired Characteristics :
- Experience in GE contractual service agreement financials
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of Oracle application
- Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional, international matrix organization
- Ability to work independently through operational and accounting processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with high energy
- Strong ability to deliver results
