Main Purpose of the Role

Welocalize is looking for an ISL (Irish Sign Language Interpreter) for an ongoing projects for a leading Tech and Computer Science company. The job can be either done remotely via Team's meetings or onsite (location is Ireland, Cork). The settings are remote internal employee meetings

Location: Remote (via Teams) or Onsite (Cork, Ireland)

Workload: 5-10 virtual meetings per week (ongoing, based on employee needs)

Start date: end of August

Employment Type: Freelance/Independent Contract

Task type: Simultaneous remote interpreting

Content types: Computer Science / Tech-related topics (1:1 manager meetings, cross-department updates, etc.)

Tool used: Team's meetings

Required Skills

        Minimum 5 years' experience in the specific mode of service (Consecutive/Simultaneous)

        Minimum 5 years' experience in the requested industry

        At least 1 year working with remote (RSI-remote simultaneous interpreting) platforms

Should meet one of the following criteria:

-        Degree in Interpretation or Translation with a focus on Interpretation OR

-        Being a Member of an Interpretation Associations OR

-        Have an ISL certification
