About our business in Japan

With the establishment of our Japanese subsidiary in April 2022 and led by Kenichiro Ina as Country Manager, we have grown rapidly to become a trusted partner to enterprise companies across a range of industries.

Currently, approximately 18 members play important roles, such as Account Executive (AE), Sales Development Representative (SDR), presales, Customer Success Manager (CSM), marketing, and partner sales, and are working to improve corporate efficiency, drive innovation, and support digital transformation.

We are proud to serve over 60 enterprise clients in Japan, including industry-leading companies such as Sony, Sumitomo Mitsui Card, Casio, Belluna, and SoftBank, who leverage our solutions to achieve key business outcomes and stay competitive in a rapidly changing digital environment.

About the role

This position is ideal for a highly motivated candidate who will report directly to the APJ Sales Development Head and have the ability to generate new business opportunities and build strong customer relationships in the Japanese market.

As an inside sales person, you will identify and nurture potential customers, and work with the sales team to promote relationship building with target companies. You will help expand our market by deeply understanding our customers' issues and proposing how our solutions can help them.

Main duties

  • Generate new business opportunities through email, industry events, introductions, etc.
  • Build trust and foster long-term relationships with C-level decision makers
  • Understand market trends and position yourself as an industry expert
  • Partner with the sales team to help build and grow the pipeline
  • Analyze customer issues and provide market trend feedback to internal teams
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals through a consultative sales approach.

Required Qualifications

  • A strong desire to succeed and the ability to take initiative in your work
  • 1+ years of sales/business development experience in B2B technology, SaaS, analytics, CRM software industry
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in Japanese (native level) and English (business level)
  • Those who understand Japanese business culture and can conduct sales that emphasize building trust and long-term relationships
  • People who are competitive and have had success in sports or academics
