Location: Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Work Schedule: Hybrid: 4 days onsite (working for Hallandale Pharmacy); 1 day remote (working for PuzzleHR); Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST.

Job Summary
This position will support both Hallandale Pharmacy and aspects of PuzzleHR. At Hallandale Pharmacy we specialize in personalized compounding to cater to the unique needs of patients. By fostering partnerships with healthcare professionals nationwide, we have curated an extensive formulary of pharmaceuticals dedicated to promoting well-being. As a 503A designated pharmacy, we uphold the highest standards outlined by USP, ensuring superior quality in every prescription. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resource Manager- Generalist to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in advancing our mission of revolutionizing pharmaceutical modalities.
The Human Resource Manager- Generalist will lead the daily and strategic functions of the Human Resources (HR) department for Hallandale Pharmacy including compensation administration, benefits and leave of absence guidance, and enforcing company policies and practices. This position will also support PuzzleHR as a consultant for our client base, which could include supporting clients outside of Hallandale Pharmacy. You may implement HR practices, procedures, and solutions for clients being supported within your team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serves as a trusted advisor to owners, managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures while displaying a high level of business acumen and confidentiality.
- Creates the annual HR strategic roadmap and provides recommendations on key HR initiatives with approval/buy-in from owners and managers to complete priority HR projects that align with the company business goals.
- Facilitates performance evaluation processes, providing guidance to managers on performance-related issues, and recommending steps for improvement.
- Schedules, reviews, tracks, and maintains documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training for managers and employees, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include manager training, safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Consults on and reviews background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation and benefits; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles employment-relations inquiries from managers and provides prompt guidance and training.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance and knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, regulatory changes and recommended best practices.
- Reviews and updates policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Assists with mentoring HR Coordinators, HR Generalists and LOA team (all PuzzleHR contacts) and collaborates with HR clerk and payroll. ? Performs client HR support for PuzzleHR as needed, this could include projects and direct client guidance. ? Performs other duties as assigned.

- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS/payroll systems.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Minimum 3+ years of human resource management or 4 years of progressive HR experience preferred.
- 1- 2 years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist at a mid-size to large organization preferred
- SHRM-CP or PHR required.
Environment
This role routinely may need the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This may require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand, as necessary. The environment is moderately noisy.
You will be required to
- Stand, walk, and sitting for prolonged periods of time at a desk working on a computer.
- Be able to reach, stoop, kneel or crouch.
- Be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Must be able to participate in video conferences/meetings.
Salary Description
$60,000 to $75,000
