Job Description:

Penn Mutual, a leader in the life insurance and financial services industry, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Analyst to join our dynamic HR team. 

In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of HR processes. The ideal candidate will be a proactive HR professional who is passionate about human resources and is dedicated to enhancing the employee experience while aligning to our Shared Commitment of Care, Respect and Belonging. 

Key Responsibilities

HR Program Coordination & Project Management: 

  • Lead cross-functional HR projects, driving goals, timelines, and successful outcomes, while ensuring smooth transitions and identifying and consolidating feedback for system improvement. 

  • Develop tracking systems for HR tasks, providing valuable insights to the business and keeping leadership informed on project progress. 

  • Create user-friendly resources for HR Business Partners to enhance their success and empower strategic decision-making. 

HR Administration: 

  • Produce HR reports and presentations that align people strategy with company goals, collaborating with HRBPs to improve processes and efficiency. 

  • Partner with HR leadership to ensure policies are up-to-date and legally compliant, and assist in employee transactions (new hires, terminations, status changes) with precision and confidentiality. 

  • Guide employees through optimizing their Workday profiles, while contributing to the HR audit process with recommendations for continuous improvement. 

Elevate Employee Experience 

  • Ensure a seamless, high touch onboarding experience, monitoring milestones and supporting new hires’ transitions. 

  • Develop and manage employee recognition initiatives that celebrate achievements, contributions, and milestones, fostering a sense of appreciation and belonging. 

  • Collaborate with HRBPs on career pathing to develop and nurture talent for long-term growth within the organization. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 

  • Former experience with HCM Workday and system navigation on behalf of HR support. 

  • 1-2 years of experience in HR or administrative support (internships included). 

  • Strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws. 

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on building relationships. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and M365 

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. 

  • Ability to make a positive contribution as demonstrated by learning new skills and making suggestions for process/procedure improvement 

  • Ability to work with others in a collaborative team environment 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus. 

Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000
