This is a senior, high-impact role where procurement strategy, supplier partnerships, and programme delivery come together.

What you’ll do in this role 

  • Own and deliver Unum’s end-to-end procurement strategy. 
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing procurement team. 
  • Build and manage strategic supplier partnerships in a regulated aerospace environment. 
  • Drive cost, quality, delivery, risk, and compliance performance. 
  • Lead procurement input to new product introduction, programmes, and cross-functional projects, ensuring milestones are met. 
  • Support business growth, customer commitments, and operational excellence. 

Requirements

 What we’re looking for  

  • Senior procurement leadership experience in regulated manufacturing. 
  • Strong commercial, negotiation, and supplier management capability. 
  • Deep understanding of quality, compliance, and traceability requirements. 
  • Experience supporting complex programmes or project-based delivery. 
  • Aerospace or complex engineered product experience strongly preferred.
