As our Head of Brand (m/f/d), you'll be the driving force behind unforgettable brand experiences. You'll lead a team of creative and action-oriented minds, ensuring that every facet of Octopus Energy—from the smallest brochure to the largest event—is visible and distinctive.   • Empower & lead your team:
  • You will lead our 6-person brand team (e.g., brand manager, event manager, graphic designer) with inspiration and vision to realize excellent brand experiences, large campaigns, and everything in between in record time.
  • As a coach and mentor, you motivate your team to achieve top performance , promote individual strengths and ensure a smooth workflow through smart resource planning and efficient task allocation
  • You embrace agile working methods , promote a fast learning culture and create an environment in which creativity and innovation flourish – in the team and throughout the company
  • Designing & shaping our brand:
  • Brand Guru: Everything we do bears your signature and is unmistakably Octopus Energy. You challenge every pixel, every color code, and every word to ensure an outstanding brand presence—whether online, on TV, in our classrooms, or on our socks!
  • Design Master: With your sense of aesthetics and trends, you are responsible for the quality and conception of all creative outputs – from trade fair stands to the wrapping of our vans.
  • Brand Guardian: You ensure that our corporate design and brand standards are consistently adhered to and ensure increasing brand awareness.
  • Driving innovation & creating experiences:
  • You're passionate about solving complex challenges creatively and using your expertise in design and conception to significantly drive our brand growth. Your proactive, hands-on mentality will help you achieve this.
  • You'll be the brains behind creative marketing ideas and projects (e.g., for trade fair appearances, innovative branding materials, and events) and bring them to life. You'll work closely and results-oriented with our teams in Germany and the UK.
  • You're on the cutting edge, identify trends, and understand what motivates our target groups. You transform these insights into unique concepts and unconventional campaigns that innovatively advance our brand presence in the energy market – even on-site, when it matters.
  • You manage our brand budget smartly and goal-oriented, with the greatest possible outcome in mind.
  • You diligently track the success of your marketing concepts in order to adapt quickly and find even better ways to achieve your goals.

What you bring:

• Dein Know-how: 
• Comprehensive knowledge of design principles, UI/UX , and common graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) . You speak the language of creatives.
• Your conceptual strengths: You are a master of conceptualization and idea development . You playfully transform complex challenges into tangible, innovative, and implementable concepts that advance our brand.
• Your experience: Several years of proven experience in a comparable position with team responsibility in brand management and design (add on: event management) – ideally in the B2C or customer-facing energy sector.
• Your communication skills: You're a natural at communicating and presenting . You convey your ideas competently and openly, whether to the team, stakeholders, or external partners.
• Your attitude: You are a hands-on person with a strong innovative spirit, strategic vision, and the ability to deliver top performance even under pressure.
• Your qualification: A completed degree in marketing, communication design, event management or a comparable field.
