Job Description:

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Growth Operations Manager to join our growing, distributed team at Coforma.

 

As a Growth Operations Manager at Coforma, you'll be responsible for orchestrating growth activities across our focus areas (healthcare, Veterans services, and public interest) with operations, delivery, and innovation teams. You will partner with the Head of Growth to develop growth strategies, identify new business opportunities, and foster strategic partnerships. 

The Growth Operations Manager is the glue that holds our department together. As Coforma expands in the federal marketplace, grows our commercial footprint, develops state and local government partnerships, and brings new products to market, you will connect strategy with execution. You will be an advisor to the Head of Growth and position Coforma for rapid growth through account planning, pipeline management, cross-department collaboration, and forecasting. With a deep understanding of the business development lifecycle, you will test and implement the latest tools to drive efficiency and automation. 

The ideal candidate will have a background in digital technology and design services, and experience in US government contracting is required.

$147,290 to $156,560 Annual Salary + Benefits + Growth Potential

Placement within this range will be based on the competency level of the candidate. An offer will be made at one of the following tiers:

Tier 1: $147,290 - Meets minimum qualification/experience requirements. Beyond onboarding, will need additional guidance and training to perform key responsibilities of the role.

Tier 2: $156,560 - Experienced and fully-competent. Beyond onboarding, can independently perform key responsibilities of the role.

To honor our company-wide equitable pay system, the posted salary range and corresponding tier salaries are non-negotiable.

This is a US-based remote position open to applicants in select states listed below. Some travel will be required.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

 

  • Process and systems management and improvement: Identify, assess, implement, and manage all processes and systems/tools (G Suite, Loopio, Monday, etc.) for the Growth team and evolve them over time as our organization grows and matures, focusing on implementing AI tools to improve speed and efficiency.
  • Pipeline management and reporting: Oversee the development, maintenance, and analysis of the pipeline, generating reports/status updates and insights to inform strategy, drive decision-making, and ensure key stakeholders have visibility into the health of the pipeline at any given time.
  • Lead/support new opportunity discovery: Proactively identify, vet, and prioritize new business opportunities through research, networking, and relationship-building, ensuring opportunities are aligned with our goals, capabilities, and capacity.
  • Contract vehicle, alliance, and partner management: Oversee contract vehicle management and create and grow mutually beneficial alliance and teaming partner relationships that complement and strengthen our capabilities and expertise.
  • Monitor industry trends and develop competitive analysis: Stay up-to-date on market shifts/changes, trends, industry developments, and competitive positioning and break down insights into executable strategies to drive business/increase market share.
  • Track performance metrics: Monitor and analyze key Growth metrics and provide recommendations to drive continuous innovation and improvement.
  • Drive and foster collaboration across the organization: Align solution architects with Delivery and Innovation teams to create and deliver the best solutions to our customers.

Who You Are (Requirements)

  • 4+ years of experience in growth/business development operations with a proven track record of success working across the entire business development lifecycle
  • Demonstrated ability to use tech and tools to improve workflows, facilitate decision making, and drive outcomes
  • Passion for learning, ability to create and adapt systems, and ability to collaborate with creative, technical, and business stakeholders and team members
  • Experience using agile frameworks such as Lean, Scrum, Kanban, and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Experience working cross-functionally with strategists, product designers, developers, communications, and other disciplines
  • Experience managing milestones, dependencies, communications, and stakeholder expectations
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally (whether verbally or through assistive technologies/aids) to increase transparency
  • Strong competency in situational awareness, situational leadership, and conflict mitigation and resolution
  • Ability to nurture relationships to help drive prioritization across multiple projects and create ecosystems of success
  • Full-time resident of the contiguous United States (must be legally authorized to work in the US now and in the future without sponsorship)

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • 2+ years of experience working on a remote team or remote freelancing
  • Prior professional services, government, federal, or private consulting experience
  • Experience writing and editing requirements for government proposals

  • Internet: Will prioritize and maintain access to strong, reliable internet for the remote nature of our work, except when on vacation or holiday.
  • Security: Will keep the highest security practices to ensure privacy and security of Coforma and client information, given the nature of our work, even when on vacation.
  • Travel Flexibility: On request and with advanced notice, will attend in-person events such as meetings, workshops, and trainings as assigned for projects that require it.

The salary range for this position is $147,290 to $156,560 in line with our company-wide equitable pay scale.
