Description
Kettle & Fire is looking for a talented and driven Graphic Designer to bring our brand to life across every touchpoint — from digital campaigns and packaging to email, social, and retail displays. This is a high-impact role for a creative who thrives at the intersection of craft, storytelling, and strategic execution.
You’ll work alongside a high-performing team to shape and evolve our visual identity. From ideation to final delivery, you’ll have the opportunity to create work that is not only beautiful and engaging, but deeply aligned with our mission and values.
Motion design is a major plus — we’re looking for someone who can bring static assets to life and help us stand out across digital platforms with dynamic, movement-rich content.
This is a full-time role reporting to our Creative Director. It is a remote position with minimal travel expected.
Who We Are:
At Kettle & Fire, we exist to create products that heal rather than harm - nourishing people on their path to better health and building a food system we can be proud of.
We’re a company of A-players who move fast, think clearly, and act with intent. We own our outcomes, speak with radical candor, and embrace a growth mindset - pushing ourselves and each other to keep learning, improving, and delivering high-quality work that matters. We’re obsessed with the customer, insanely focused on mission-critical work, and committed to building a team where collaboration, accountability, and high trust are non-negotiable.
We don’t do fluff. We tackle big challenges with great people, celebrate the wins, and enjoy the ride along the way. If this sounds like an environment you’d thrive in, you’ll feel right at home here.
What You'll Own:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to:
- Visual Design Execution: Design on-brand creative assets across a range of channels — including paid ads, email, social, website, packaging, and in-store displays.
- Campaign Support: Collaborate with the Creative Director and Marketing team on seasonal and product-specific campaigns — executing cohesive visuals across touchpoints.
- Retail & Sales Support: Maintain and update our growing sales toolkit – includes our master sales deck, seasonal pitch decks, sell sheets and collateral.
- Motion-Driven Storytelling (a huge plus): Create animated and motion-based assets that enhance engagement and bring our brand to life in dynamic ways.
- Packaging & Print Assets: Assist in developing print-ready packaging and retail collateral that communicate quality and stand out on shelves.
- Collaboration & Feedback: Contribute ideas, respond to feedback, and iterate in a highly collaborative, fast-moving creative environment.
- Creative Ops & Standards: Ensure assets are delivered accurately, on time, and in adherence to brand guidelines and specs.
What Success Looks Like:
In 6 Months:
- You’ve helped to elevate the polish and cohesion of our brand across all channels
- You’ve taken ownership of key design projects and earned the trust of cross-functional partners
- You feel creatively challenged and supported, and your work is making a visible impact
In 1 Year:
- You’re a go-to creative on the team with a deep understanding of our brand and business
- You’ve helped evolve and elevate the brand’s visual identity
- Your work is driving meaningful results across marketing and retail
- You’ve grown as a designer, you’re enjoying your work and your portfolio is full of projects you're proud of
Requirements
Qualifications and Competencies for Success:
- 2–5 years of experience in graphic design (agency or in-house), ideally in CPG, wellness, or food & beverage
- A portfolio that shows thoughtful, high-quality design across both digital and print, including motion-based work
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and relevant AI tools; familiarity with After Effects or similar tools is highly valued
- A sharp eye for layout, typography, color, and detail
- Strong time management skills — able to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and pivot quickly
- A self-starter with a growth mindset — eager to learn, take initiative, and continuously improve both creative output and craft
- A collaborative mindset with a desire to contribute, grow, and push the work forward
Additional Skills We're Looking For (Not Required, But a Big Plus):
- Packaging or retail design experience
- Fluency in motion design or basic video editing
- Familiarity with performance creative and direct-to-consumer design principles
- Photography or visual content creation experience
- Comfort with Figma and collaborative design systems
