Grants Accountant | $90,000 – $100,000 + Bonus | Hybrid – Chicago, IL

Our client is hiring a Grants Accountant to join their mission-driven organization addressing social, environmental, and justice-focused challenges. This hybrid Grants Accountant role offers 2 days in-office weekly, with full remote flexibility for the first three weeks of January.

As a Grants Accountant, you will:

• Process grant payments, invoices, and approvals accurately.

• Reconcile grant-related general ledger accounts and maintain grantee records.

• Support reporting, analysis, and compliance for grants and impact investments.

• Collaborate with programs, legal, and finance teams.

• Take on select accounting responsibilities from other finance functions.

What we’re looking for in a Grants Accountant:

• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience (grants experience a plus, but not required).

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.

• Strong ERP and Excel skills, attention to detail, excellent communication.
