Title: Fundraising Analytics Developer

Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Analytics Developer at BSW Health Foundations will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing the information leveraged by BSW Health's fundraising programs. The developer will create and edit reports, data visualizations, and solutions that deliver actionable information to business leaders, colleagues, and community members. This role will support the foundation's finance team with report development and troubleshooting to help build efficiency and minimize redundancy and support the foundation's fundraising teams to understand goals and progress, as well as other constituencies working in conjunction with BSW Health's fundraising efforts.

An ideal candidate will bring experience with Power BI, Raiser's Edge and Financial Edge querying and reporting. Candidates who know only one (or two) of the three programs should still consider applying if there is a proven track record of learning new software quickly. A strong background with Power Query in Excel will be considered in lieu of Power BI experience.

This is an on-site/hybrid role in Dallas, TX near Deep Ellum. Fully/mostly remote will not be considered.

A successful candidate will build trust and rapport through active listening and attention to detail.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience working with Power Query in Excel or Power BI and/or Raiser's Edge/Financial Edge. If experience is stronger in RE/FE reporting, then a candidate must bring a strong desire to learn advanced Power BI/Power Query independently.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with end-users across a spectrum of technical skills and responsibilities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently (self-directed work) at times as well as on a team (participating in projects to explore data needs, training new users, etc.)
