As part of our scaling ambitions, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced part-time "Fractional Chief Finance Officer" to join our team. This is an important and major step for us, so finding the right candidate is key. It will require someone who is not only experienced, but a great communicator and collaborator, who can work alongside the leadership team and provide guidance as we grow. You will oversee our financial operations, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring Giant Pumpkin's financial health. You will drive financial planning and analysis, ensuring that our financial strategy aligns with its overall business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Financial strategy development: Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies that align with Giant Pumpkin's business goals.
• Budgeting and forecasting: Manage Giant Pumpkin's budgeting process and develop financial forecasts to guide decision-making.
• Financial reporting: Develop and deliver comprehensive and insightful financial reports to key stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Cash flow management: Oversee cash flow management, ensuring Giant Pumpkin has the necessary resources to meet its obligations.
• Risk management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring Giant Pumpkin's long-term financial stability.

Requirements

• You will bring proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior financial leadership role with international exposure, and ideally will have experience as a Fractional CFO.
• With a strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, you will bring high-level big picture solutions and thinking to our financial structure and frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions, that can be clearly communicated to various stakeholders.
• Great communication skills are key, we are a strong collaborative team.
• Ability to provide strategic financial guidance and drive business performance.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting with a focus on strategic financial management.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, Fathom
• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.

• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
• Ideally you will be based in Bangkok, Thailand. Although we are open to a hybrid style role, the specific nature of this role will require in-person time at our Bangkok HQ especially in the early days.
• Experience in industries relevant to the digital tech business.
• Previous exposure working in a multi cultural team in Thailand is advantageous.
• Have familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements both in Thailand and internationally.
• Have proven strong leadership skills to guide the company through financial challenges and opportunities.
