About the Role
As a Financial Accounting & Controlling Senior Analyst at Dialectica you will be:
- Overseeing and ensuring accuracy of the general ledger.
- Managing month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reviewing and verifying financial transactions for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensuring proper documentation and approval of transactions.
- Performing regular reconciliations of accounts, such as bank reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies.
- Managing fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
- Assisting FP&A team in the preparation of budgets and forecasts and in monitoring of budgetary controls and variance analysis.
- Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Preparing and presenting financial statements, including balance sheet, income statements, cash flow statements and supportive management analysis/ IFRS disclosures.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Leveraging technology and automation tools for better financial management.
What we are looking for
- BSc degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- 4-7 years of work experience, ideally combining Corporate Accounting/ Controlling and audit.
- Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, etc) would be considered a plus.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principals.
- Comfortable dealing with numbers and processing of financial information.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel).
- High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness.
- Ability to coordinate with various teams.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Problem-solving attitude.
- Proactiveness and self-motivation.
