Field Support Coordinator
Location - This role is eligible to be performed remotely, however, if you reside within 100 miles of Organic Valley offices in WI, you will be expected to collaborate onsite in a hybrid fashion for 4-8 days per month. If you reside outside of 100 miles, you will travel in 4 times/year for intentional collaboration and connection.

Summary of Role
The Field Support Coordinator holds a critical role as the conduit of information and communication between many internal and external stakeholders essential to CROPP's membership. In partnership with the Regional Pool Managers in their division, the Field Support Coordinator is accountable for the office needs in recruitment, onboarding new members and support of dairy member-owner relations. This team stewards CROPP's message, membership policy and farmer data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the onboarding process of new members according to CROPP member requirements from start to finish.
- Internally oversee and facilitate all pools membership status changes (ex. farm transfers, farm moves, entity changes, and quits) from start and finish.
- Partner with the Regional Pool Managers to guide and facilitate producer relationship needs.
- Evaluate and recommend prospective members to pool staff for further consideration.
- Analyze and direct all required farmer compliance paperwork needs within their division.
- Manage accurate farm account data within INFOR system.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to assess business requirements and implement solutions for farm data maintenance challenges.
- Implement, continuously improve and follow processes that result in consistency and equitability.
- Prepare and distribute all pools Farmer Update Notices to ensure consistent records with external partners and internal departments.
- Promptly identify and resolve issues by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, employing critical thinking to develop effective solutions.
- Prepare membership correspondence letters and other communications, including drafting, revising, and editing documents as directed and in cooperation with leadership.
- Facilitates data-driven decision-making by collaborating with key contacts and providing insights derived from farm data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
- Monitor adherence of our animal care program through reviewing animal care audits and remediations.
- Information maintenance for National Field Staff (DPMs & RPMs) work plan requirements.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
- Represent Organic Valley at regional farmer events as requested and approved.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
- Manage a diverse workload, frequent interruptions and multiple internal and external requests to meet required timelines.
- Ability to adapt to change in a positive manner to meet department and company goals.
- Other duties and projects as assigned by manager.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business or commensurate experience is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of office experience required, preferably in an agricultural setting.
- Practical dairy and livestock experience preferred.
- Knowledge of organic production systems and organic certification standards and requirements.
- Ability to promote cooperative values.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple tasks.
- Demonstrate the ability to meet team deadlines and support facilitation of cross departmental teams hitting deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy required.
- Skilled in verbal and written communication.

Base hourly wage range: $19.79 - $27.21 per hour
This hourly wage range is exclusive of fringe benefits. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses. If you are hired at CROPP, your final base hourly wage compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that entry-level candidates to this role should expect to be at the lower end of the hourly wage range and hiring at the maximum of the hourly wage range is not typical.
