Your duties and tasks (WHAT YOU WILL DO)

Braze is in a growth phase in the Japanese market, and we want to make this sustainable. As a marketer, you will build trusting relationships with related departments, plan and implement effective initiatives, create a strong brand, and provide comprehensive support for demand generation and customer success, contributing to mid- to long-term growth. We are looking for colleagues to help us grow the company into one with sales of over 10 billion yen by 2030.

  • Acting as a strategic partner to product, inside sales, sales, alliances, and customer success teams, we maximize pipeline generation and sales through in-person and virtual campaigns (seminars, events, exhibitions, roundtables, networking).
  • Plan and utilize sponsorship programs, and as a leader of annual events, be responsible for planning, attracting customers, and running the events.
  • Develop an event marketing management process, define stakeholder roles, and ensure consistency and quality across all events.
  • Responsible for the logistics, budget and on-site operations of project implementation (especially large events and exhibitions).
  • Follow up with appropriate segments in a timely manner based on the GTM strategy, and develop and implement post-implementation strategies.
  • Work with Marketing and Inside Sales to reach audiences using Marketo email, Facebook and LinkedIn ads, etc., drive participation from target accounts desired by Sales and Inside Sales, and follow up appropriately to achieve registration goals.
  • Utilizing SFDC/Marketo, measure ROI and implement improvement activities through campaign result reports and analysis.
  • Work with the brand marketing team to ensure the quality of their deliverables.
  • Coordinate with the Global/APAC team to plan content for the event, collaborate with speakers, and negotiate in-person visits to Japan and online lecture recordings (virtual) as needed.
  • Implementation will be carried out.
  • Proactively collaborate with digital marketing leaders to maximize ROI on initiatives.

Job Application Requirements (WHO YOU ARE)

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of marketing or sales experience
  • Communication skills to work in a positive and proactive manner with sales, inside sales, and global marketing.
  • See challenges and problems as opportunities for improvement and personal growth, and collaborate with your team and other departments to create unique solutions to resolve the issues.
  • A self-starter who respects others as a team member and takes the initiative to complete tasks.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, cooperate with stakeholders, manage risks, and implement measures accurately.
  • Understand expectations from business leaders, sales, and inside sales, and provide appropriate feedback and accountability.
  • Understanding of technology and customer marketing operations, experience and understanding of SaaS business would be a plus
  • Experience with inside sales and Marketo would be a plus
  • English proficiency (daily conversation to business level)
