Title: Freelance Documentation Specialist - LNE POS Certification (France)
Location: Paris Île-de-France FR
Type: Contract
Workplace: Fully remote
Job Description:
Description
Remote (EU-based preferred) | Freelance contract | 9 months | French + English
We are seeking an experienced documentation specialist to lead the delivery of certification materials required under France’s fiscal software compliance regime (BOI-TVA-DECLA-30-10-30). This is a hands-on role at the core of our LNE v1.7 certification project—translating complex technical detail into formal, regulator-facing dossiers.
This is not a generic technical writing brief. The successful candidate will combine strong regulatory understanding with native-level French writing and proven experience delivering structured documentation to French authorities such as LNE or Infocert.
About us
We are a leading global provider of cinema software and digital solutions, with a growing presence across EMEA. This project forms part of our broader fiscal compliance roadmap for the French market, with senior leadership backing and direct visibility at product board level.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full documentation stream for LNE v1.7 certification (POS scope)
- Translate and reformat technical materials into the required French formats
- Work across internal teams (Product, QA, Dev, Compliance) to extract and validate key content
- Support the audit and admissibility process where needed
- Deliver the seven required LNE dossiers:
- General Design
- Functional Specifications
- Technical Architecture
- Organisational Procedures
- Maintenance Plan
- Operational Use
- User Guide
Requirements
Required Skills
- Prior experience preparing dossiers for LNE, Infocert, or French fiscal authorities
- Strong familiarity with software products subject to certification (POS, ERP, accounting)
- Excellent writing skills in formal French (native level)
- Fluent English for internal collaboration
- Strong grasp of structured documentation, traceability, and regulatory logic
Bonus Skills
- Experience working with .NET, Azure or SQL-based architectures
- Familiarity with French VAT or fiscal law concepts (BOI-TVA-DECLA)
- Prior experience supporting software audits or certification reviews
Benefits
- Freelance or fixed-term engagement (9 months)
- Remote-first (preference for EU/France-based candidates)
- Target rate: approx. €550–€650/day depending on experience
- Immediate start preferred
