About The Role 

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Director of Treasury to lead the Treasury operation team and work closely with VP Treasurer on FX hedging programs while contributing to the broader Treasury team’s strategic goals. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, advanced technical skills, attention to details and the ability to work collaboratively across business units to build and optimize processes that mitigate the company’s treasury related risk.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Analyze global currency exposure, develop & execute FX hedging strategies to manage currency risk across our global business; maintain the knowledge on ASC815 

  • Oversee daily cash positioning, investment activities and manage intercompany funding and settlement processes, ensuring accuracy and timely execution of transactions and optimal strategies on maximizing returns in alignment with the company’s risk profiles and liquidity requirements.

  • Partner across the finance and operational teams to ensure we maintain and enhance the Treasury operations (including funding strategies and banking infrastructure), manage Treasury policies, procedures and internal controls.

  • Manage our global network of banking relationships including identifying new partners where needed, leading integration efforts, and leveraging the capabilities of our banking partners to meet the operational needs of our business

  • Partner with FP&A on cash and interest income/expense forecasting 

  • Improve the usage of our Treasury Management System (Kyriba) by actively seeking ways to enhance its functionality and efficiency, identifying and implementing new modules, automating processes

  • Partner with the Office of Transformation to seek additional opportunities within the Treasury team for efficiencies and automation.

  • In charge of business insurance lines renewal process, review insurance languages for contracts and handle other insurance related tasks

  • Compliance with financial regulations, internal risk control policies (SOX) for treasury activities

  • Build strong relationships with the broader Finance team, supporting ad hoc requests and projects. 

  • Drive and deliver continuous improvement in processes and procedures within the Treasury function. 

Reporting Structure and Team:

  • Report to VP Treasurer

  • Manage a team of 2

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences

  • High level of critical and logical thinking and comfort with ambiguity

  • Ability to create and build collaborative working relationships across the finance team and the company

  • Knowledge of GAAP accounting related to foreign currency and investments

  • Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as they are identified, and assist with various ad hoc projects as needed

  • Self-starter, able to thrive in a creative and fast-pace environment 

  • Strong project management skills with a drive to meet organizational objectives

  • Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize; able to navigate complex organizations

  • Attention to detail in all areas of work

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or, similar technical/quantitative discipline or equivalent years of experience in a related field

  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience

  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing teams 

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, CPA, CFA, CTP or equivalent

This is a hybrid role and will require being in our Needham, MA headquarters 1 to 2 days a week. Relocation is not provided for this role.
