The Director of Revenue is an active role on Hotel Kansas City's Leadership Team. Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the Director of Sales, The Director of Revenue is responsible for maximizing overall hotel revenue for rooms and food and beverage through the implementation of effective pricing and distribution strategies.
This role is responsible for providing guidance in developing long-term strategies and short-term tactics to increase the hotel's overall revenues and to maximize profit. This role will provide key leadership surrounding the hotel's revenue recognition policies and will regularly interface with the sales, operations and marketing departments. This position may be onsite or remote.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years as a Revenue Director in the hotel industry
- Experience as a top STR performer within their hotels competitive set
- Luxury hotel experience preferred
- Strong organization and analytical skills
- Intermediate or expert skill level in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Display leadership qualities that mentor, develop, and guide hotel team members such as revenue analysts and managers.
