The Role

As Director of Campground Operations, you’ll oversee the daily operations of our 15 campgrounds while leading Regional Directors, General Managers, and their teams. Your mandate: operational excellence, financial performance, safety compliance, and an unforgettable guest experience. 

You Will:

  • Inspire and align leaders to a shared vision of hospitality excellence.
  • Drive KPIs in guest satisfaction, revenue growth, profitability, employee retention, and safety.
  • Build and strengthen a talent pipeline with effective succession planning.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service to deliver a seamless guest experience.
  • Standardize operational systems and ensure consistency across all properties.
  • Champion diversity, inclusivity, and equity across hiring and leadership development. 

Location Requirement

This is a remote position with frequent in-market travel across the Eastern Seaboard. Candidates must reside in NY, NJ, PA, MA, CT, RI, VT, NH, NC, VA, TN, GA, or ME, or be willing to relocate to the region. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive multi-unit leadership in outdoor hospitality, resorts, or related industries.
  • Strong track record in operational and financial performance.
  • Expertise in leadership development and change management.
  • Proven P&L management and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in hospitality/reservation systems (Campspot, Newbook preferred).
  • Ability to travel 30–40% annually.
