About the Role

Title: Director, AI Video

Location: San Jose United States

Category: Marketing & Communication

Job ID: 2025-15253

Job Description:

Arm is hiring a senior video creative to help lead visual storytelling across brand campaigns, product launches, and major global company moments. This role combines hands-on editing with creative direction, motion design, and advanced use of AI video tools. It's a craft-first position, focused on output - films, commercials, sizzles, explainers, social content - that looks exceptional, and lands with impact.

Job Overview:

This is a key role within Arm's global Brand & Creative team, focused on driving high-quality video output across channels. The ideal candidate brings both deep editing craft and a forward-thinking approach to tools and workflows, especially as AI reshapes how content gets made. Work spans everything from widescreen keynote content and brand films to social edits and F1 sponsorship videos. Collaboration is tight with producers, designers, writers, and campaign leads across regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit and direct high-visibility video for launches, campaigns, events, and more
  • Develop narrative structure, tone, and pacing for a wide range of formats
  • Use AI platforms like Runway, Pika, Gen-2, Sora, and ElevenLabs for creative development and speed
  • Deliver motion design and typography that aligns with the brand's system
  • Produce content across widescreen, vertical, and social formats
  • Contribute to evolving the creative team's video standards, workflows, and output quality

Required Skills and Experience :

  • 10+ years in video editing, creative direction, or content production at an agency or tech company
  • Strong portfolio of campaign, product, or event-based video work
  • Proficiency with Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve
  • Experience integrating AI tools into video workflows
  • Skilled in motion, type, rhythm, and visual storytelling
  • Comfortable working across time zones with a globally distributed team

"Nice To Have" Skills and Experience :

  • Background in technology
  • Familiarity with real-time tools (Unreal, Unity) or 3D workflows (Blender, C4D)
  • Confidence with audio, VO, or light VFX
  • Awareness of localization needs and platform-specific video nuance

In Return:

This is a chance to shape how one of the world's most foundational tech brands tells its story on the global stage. The work is high-profile, creatively ambitious, and deeply collaborative. You'll be working with a team that values clarity, originality, and craft and that's actively experimenting with how AI can 10x creativity, not replace it.

Salary Range:

$153,900-$208,200 per year
