General Description:
We're looking for a talented and driven Social/Digital Media Graphic Designer to join our team to bring our visual content to life across all digital and social platforms. This role will be pivotal in producing visually compelling graphics that engage fans, grow our reach, bring our brand to life and support the team's digital storytelling year-round. This person will create content that lives across the team's official social media and digital properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Design high-impact graphics for social media platforms (Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Threads, LinkedIn, etc.) and team website/mobile app aligned with brand standards and digital strategy.
- Design website, mobile app and email graphics, including website headers, touts, mobile app splash screens, email messaging and more.
- Collaborate with the content team to concept and execute real-time visuals during games, breaking news, transactions, and player milestones.
- Translate key messages, stats, and narratives into visually compelling graphics.
- Assist in the creation and execution of branded content assets for sponsorship and partnership activations.
- Work with photographers and video team to integrate powerful imagery into graphical presence across digital platforms.
- Shared responsibility for digital asset management, including tagging (PhotoShelter) and coordinating with photographers on deliverables.
- Stay current with design trends, sports culture, and emerging platforms to ensure content remains relevant and forward-thinking.
- Contribute to seasonal campaigns, including schedule release, uniform unveilings, themed games, draft coverage, training camp, and playoffs.
- Collaborate around development of the brand and execution across social/digital.
- Assist with and support graphical needs for presentations and decks as needed.
- Expectation to work all Ravens preseason, regular season and postseason games. Work home games from M&T Bank Stadium and road games remotely.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a social media or sports design role, preferably in professional sports, entertainment, or a creative agency.
- Strong portfolio showcasing social/digital-first sports design, typography, and layout expertise.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign).
- Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
- Deep understanding of NFL culture, fan behavior, and the digital sports landscape is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, especially during live events.
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as the NFL calendar demands. Offseason weekend work includes the NFL Draft, training camp, community events and more.
Preferred Attributes
- Passion for football and deep knowledge of the NFL.
- Experience with tools like PhotoShelter.
- Knowledge of social media analytics to optimize content performance.
- A collaborative mindset, acute attention to detail, and a proactive, positive and can-do attitude.
Salary and Benefits:
- Range: $58,500+
- Company-paid health insurance, including health and vision. Dental insurance also provided with minimal employee contribution
