About the Role

One of The Sage Group’s clients is looking for a Part Time Designer. The client offers a comprehensive digital platform that empowers organizations to streamline their maintenance processes, enhance efficiency, and maximize the lifespan of their assets.

The Role:

Localizing website into French and Portuguese and need a designer to help adapt visual assets accordingly. This includes editing and resizing designs in Figma to accommodate translated strings and recreating blog images when original source files are unavailable.

What You'll Do:
 

  • Edit website designs in Figma to support French and Portuguese translations
  • Adjust images (approximately 150 images) to accommodate longer translated text
  • Create or recreate blog images (when source files are unavailable) for translated content (approximately 15 images to start)
  • Collaborate with the translator to ensure visuals are accurate and culturally appropriate
  • Deliver pixel-perfect assets optimized for web
     

What We're Looking For:
 

  • Strong experience with web/UI design and using Figma
  • Eye for detail and typography, especially when working with multiple languages
  • Ability to recreate image assets from scratch when necessary
  • Comfortable working independently with fast turnaround times
  • Bonus: experience with localization or multilingual web projects


Location: 100% remote in Canada
Compensation: $40/hr USD
Hours: 20-40 hours in May part time and on an as needed basis
