Job Description:
Overview
FWI is seeking a Deputy Program Manager who will be responsible for assisting the Program Manager in overall performance of work under the Congressional Research Service (CRS) Data Science and Modernization contract. This position will serve as a point of contact for all contract matters relating to daily operations.

Position is contingent upon contract award
Work Schedule and Location:
Hybrid: This full-time hybrid position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm with occasional on-site requirements at the James Madison Building of the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities
- Manage and direct the activities of three data teams in support of contract requirements
- Serve as the primary liaison between the contractor and the Library of Congress
- Ensure all deliverables meet contract specifications and timelines
- Maintain full authority to act for the contractor on all contract matters
Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree or higher in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or related fields
- 5-7 years of professional experience
- Proficient with one or more programming languages (Java, C++, Python, R, etc.)
- Experience applying data science methods to real-world data problems
- Utilize visualization tools to take advantage of growing volumes of available information
