These will be your tasks as Customer Success Manager (f/m/d):
As part of the Customer Success team, you will first participate in the renowned SAP Academy for Customer Success Program, a dynamic 10-month program that will provide you with a variety of skills and a solid foundation for your successful career. After this enriching experience in a diverse and supportive environment, you will take on the exciting role of Customer Success Manager (f/m/d).
The Customer Success Manager (CSM) acts as a strategic contact person for our customers and accompanies them on their business journey with our solutions. The CSM works continuously to increase customer satisfaction, retention, renewals, references, and upsells for cloud products within the assigned solution portfolio. The CSM supports the customer with the most important milestones in the entire customer lifecycle – from contract signing to system deployment, monitoring implementation progress and achieving the goals of the business cases.
What you should bring with you

2-3 years of experience in supporting clients and guiding business transformations, ideally in the consulting environment or account management.

Proven ability to deliver strategic recommendations and solutions that drive customer success and long-term value – complemented by experience in resolving issues and managing escalations to ensure customer satisfaction and business continuity.

A cooperative and goal-oriented way of working – both in the team and in customer contact.

The ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics, to adapt flexibly to changes and to apply knowledge in a result-oriented manner.

Basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) – in particular its possible applications, basics and ethical issues – for the identification of business fields of application.
- Resilient Mindset – Challenges are approached with optimism, with a constant drive for personal and professional growth.
- Strong entrepreneurial thinking, including in-depth knowledge of business processes and/or industry.
- Very good English skills for communication within our global network.
- Fluency in German for effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders in the DACH region.

SAP employees in different regions work in a hybrid model with a combination of office and remote work according to country-specific guidelines. Our hybrid work model typically involves three days a week in the office or on-site at the customer's or partner's site.
We are planning a hands-on and intensive program where all participants are expected to travel to San Ramon, California twice, each time for 4 to 6 weeks. This experience is designed to provide hands-on learning experiences and a variety of networking opportunities. *Please note that this program is still in the planning stage and the final decision will be made by the first quarter of 2026 at the latest. We ensure that this information is communicated in a timely manner and that there is sufficient time for preparation.
During these important phases of the program, it is crucial that all participants are fully engaged to ensure maximum learning success. Therefore, no vacations are possible in these critical times.
