Why This Role Matters:
As a Customer Account Manager (CAM) at DATATRAC, you'll be the heartbeat of our customer relationships. Partnering closely with Sales and Professional Services teams, you'll ensure client satisfaction, uncover growth opportunities, and drive value for both customers and DATATRAC. This is your chance to shape the future of logistics technology while working remotely in a dynamic, supportive environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Proactively call assigned customers and prospects.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and appropriate company departments/personnel to resolve problems.
  • Prepare quotes and secure orders.
  • Works strategically with other team members to maximize revenues in assigned market segment(s).
  • Maintain database records, including related information and calls made.
  • Provide required reports to the Sales and Professional Services Manager.
  • On behalf of Datatrac, works to ensure the highest degree of customer satisfaction possible.
  • Help develop project plans for Final Mile Software and other software implementations.
  • Operate as a team member with the assigned market segment(s) team.
  • Seeks references and referrals for outbound new business opportunities.
  • Proactively address problem solving and innovation.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education and Training: Associate's degree or equivalent training in business, marketing or sales.
  • Minimum 2-4 years sales/telesales experience.
  • Specialized knowledge and skills: In depth knowledge of the company's products and software pricing practices. Effective selling skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and telephone skills.
  • To be able to speak intelligently about Datatrac products and services, as well as providing training to our customers.
  • Type equipment Used: PC and various administrative and sales management software tools. The technology requirement includes use of telephone, Team Support CRM, and database management software.
  • Work Environment/Physical Demands: Full-time remote position available 8-5 M-F ET.
