Coupa Product Owner

Direct Hire - Must be authorized to work in the United States now, and in the future, without assistance

Location: Plano, TX - 1 remote day/week

Compensation: $150,000 – $160,000 base salary + bonus

Paid Time Off: Accrues from day one; 3 weeks annually with no “use it or lose it” policy.

Medical Insurance: United Healthcare – 4 plan options with varying coverage/price points.

Dental & Vision: Provided through MetLife.

401(k): Company match: $0.50 per dollar up to 6% (begins after 1 year).

We are seeking a skilled Product Owner to lead the implementation and ongoing development of the Coupa Procure-to-Pay (P2P) platform. This individual will be responsible for defining product specifications, creating deliverables, and driving the development process in partnership with business stakeholders, Coupa, and technology teams.

 

The ideal candidate has deep experience with Coupa modules (Procurement, Invoicing, Expense, Supplier Management), a strong background in product management and agile methodologies, and excellent communication skills. This role requires leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

 

Experience:

  • 8+ years in product management or product ownership, ideally in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) or finance technology.
  • Strong hands-on Coupa experience (Procurement, Invoicing, Expense, Supplier Management).
  • Experience with Coupa integrations (APIs, ERP systems).
  • Proven ability to manage product backlogs and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, QA, and release management processes.
  • Prior experience working with third-party vendors.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to align business processes with enterprise technology solutions.
  • Skilled in market research, product strategies, and roadmap development.
  • Proficiency with agile tools (MS DevOps or similar).

Preferred (Nice-to-Have):

  • Coupa certifications or end-to-end implementation experience.
  • Knowledge of procurement or financial operations best practices.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry.
