This position is responsible for providing administrative and project support for the day-to-day operations for the Corporate Social Responsibility Department comprised of The Foundation, Community Affairs and Employee Engagement activities, its meetings, events, data and budget management, and all processes and business operations.

Responsibilities:

  •  Provides administrative and project support for the Executive Director, Foundation, Community Affairs, and Government Affairs teams.  

  • Coordinates and assists with all Foundation grantmaking, sponsorships and employee engagement activities and processes.

  • Serves as the primary contact and maintains all aspects of the Cybergrants grants and sponsorship database system.

  • Reviews and edits all correspondence and related marketing materials as requested.

  • Assists in the dissemination of CSR communications including maintaining the partner and grantee contact database.

  • Provides budget oversight including processing grants, sponsorships, purchase orders and invoices to ensure timely payment.

  • Assists in delivering marketing materials to external organizations through close coordination with the brand team.

  • Provides support for the Horizon Cares volunteer program, including assistance in coordinating volunteer activities and maintenance of employee engagement website.

  • Maintains promotional inventory, including tracking and distribution.

  • Distributes corporate entertainment portfolio as directed for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Prepares PowerPoints, Excel, and other tracking materials for reporting outcomes and updates for the department. 

  • Schedules, organizes and executes all deliverables for internal and external meetings and events; attends external events as requested. 

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.

  • Three (3) years of foundation or community affairs experience is preferred.

  • Experience with grants management software, Cybergrants experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of HTML.

  • Knowledge of Excel.

  • Experience in conducting basic research and internet searches.

  • Knowledge of healthcare, foundation and community affairs programs and understanding of philanthropy.

  • Knowledge of the nonprofit landscape throughout New Jersey.

Salary Range:

$69,500 - $93,030

​This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.  This range has been created in good faith based on information known to Horizon at the time of posting.  Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.
