Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Coordinator II, Benefits will be responsible for providing comprehensive support and education on travel benefits and general benefits-related activities to Spirit Airlines Team Members. In this role, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert, addressing inquiries, facilitating understanding of benefits, and gathering feedback to enhance the overall benefits experience for our Team Members.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service to all Team Members through HR communication channels, including emails and telephone inquiries. Provide clear answers related to travel benefits, health and ancillary benefit plans, and retirement plans, while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Efficiently handle Team Member inquiries, explaining benefit plan designs, enrollment processes, and resolving coverage or claims issues for those unfamiliar with benefits.
- Conduct benefits data audits to maintain data accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Generate and distribute reports on benefits enrollment, usage, and costs.
- Analyze benefits trends and provide recommendations for improving employee satisfaction and cost-effectiveness.
- Assist with Open Enrollment & Wellness activities, including presentations and event support.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- 1-3 years’ experience in Human Resources or a related field
Specialized Skills:
- General knowledge of HR functions, particularly in health and welfare benefits administration, retirement plan administration, claims processing, and the management of life events and Open Enrollment procedures.
- Ability to deliver cost-effective benefits solutions through effective process design and execution.

Estimated Travel:
Domestic & International travel under 10% of the time.
Physical Effort:
Ability to exert up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, with some standing or walking required.
