The Community Manager will play a pivotal role in nurturing and growing the AbsenceSoft Community. This position is ideal for someone passionate about creating engaging spaces, fostering meaningful connections, and driving a sense of belonging among community members. You will be responsible for building and cultivating strong relationships, moderating discussions, and creating dynamic and on-brand content that aligns with our marketing and operations strategies.

What You’ll Do
Content Creation & Community Moderation
- Create and write unique, engaging content aligned cross functionally with the marketing content calendar, product roadmap, and more.
- Build, maintain and execute a content calendar for the community.
- Schedule and publish discussions and posts as part of day-to-day tasks.
- Moderate activity and uphold community standards.
- Cultivate brand presence by actively engaging with community members through timely, consistent, and professional posts responses.
- Onboard new community members by responding to inquiries, assisting with needs, and ensuring a welcoming experience.
- Build and maintain relationships with community members and leaders.
- Maintaining and improving integrations between the community and other platforms
Event Planning & Hosting
- Ideate, facilitate, and host community-exclusive events that generate excitement and bring members together – both virtual and in person
- Facilitate and host customer roundtables, office hours, and more customer-exclusive events to provide additional customer support and success opportunities within the community
Analysis & Growth Planning
- Analyze and report on key community metrics, including participation, engagement, and overall satisfaction.
- Research and experiment with innovative strategies to continuously improve community health and engagement.
- Provide actionable insights and represent the community's voice within the organization.
- Track, assess and implement community platform improvements, as needed.
- Participate in a highly compliant environment while assisting to maintain company controls and security within your job role.
- Other duties as assigned.
What’ll Set You Up for Success
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in community management, social media, content or customer marketing, customer support or success, or similar field – a market or customer facing role within the B2B technology space is ideal.
- A passion and track record for creating innovative, engaging, and community-oriented content, as well as fostering positive relationships and cultivating an inclusive, supportive environment for community members.
- A keen interest in the HR space, particularly leave of absence and workplace accommodations.
- Familiarity with compliance and the legal aspects of leave of absence and accommodations landscape a plus
- Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Adept at condensing complex, legal and technical information into concise, easy-to-understand communications
- Ability to analyze data, track performance metrics, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Familiarity with SPACES model, a plus
- Experience in Salesforce, a plus
- Experience in Mighty Networks, a plus
- Experience in Asana, a plus
- Experience with Zapier, a plus
