In this role, you’ll experience new things, create new opportunities, think beyond your role, and make an impact. As a Comm Ops Recon Specialist, you will provide accounting control oversight over custodial accounts at Citizens. You will ensure financial integrity and prepare all custodial account reconciliations in a timely manner, ensuring they are consistent with corporate policies and regulations. Additionally, you will coordinate the onboarding of new custodial recons, partnering with Sales, Product and clients to ensure requirements are confirmed and met. Primary responsibilities include
- Oversight of daily/monthly account reconciliations related to Citizens FBO clients
- Collaborate across multiple payments teams to identify payment discrepancies.
- Work directly with clients to resolve payment discrepancies
- Escalate reconciliation issues timely
- Ensure that all account reconciliations are prepared in a timely manner and are consistent with bank polices and regulations.
- Collaborate with Product, Sales and Operations to onboard new clients.
- Identify and drive process improvements as the service is expanded to new clients.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
- Strong knowledge of reconciliation processes
- Demonstrated ability to interpret, analyze and leverage data to drive decision-making
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong working knowledge of treasury solutions services, especially payments
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access & PowerPoint)
- Strong quantitative, analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills
Hours & Work Schedule
- Hours per Week: 40
- Work Schedule: 8am-5pm
- Hybrid: 3 days in office; 2 remote
