What We Need:
The Collections Specialist will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Billing. This role is responsible for conducting day-to-day business operations in the billing department. This includes daily Accounts Receivable follow up on past due invoices, and answering customer inquiries related to their invoices and payments. *Private billing, not Insurance related*
What You Will Do:
- Review and respond appropriately to customer billing questions that are received via helpdesk, email, or by phone.
- Create customer invoices on a monthly basis for all SAAS accounts.
- Create and apply billing adjustments as needed, ensuring timely communication with customers.
- Monitor account status. Track onboarding, offboarding and ongoing account activity to ensure compliance with payment terms.
- Maintain documentation by keeping detailed records of all accounts receivable follow-up activities, including reporting and documentation.
- Follow up on outstanding payments proactively contacting customers of past-due Invoices to ensure timely resolution.
- Support the monthly billing process during the 5-day review period completing assigned tasks
- Perform additional job duties as assigned.

- High School Diploma required, associate's degree, preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry in a billing management position, durable medical equipment (DME) experience, preferred.
- Cash receipting experience.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and ability to learn department and job-specific software systems.
- Demonstrate organizational skills.

- Demonstrate analytical skills when problem-solving.
- Demonstrate high attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $23-28 per hour. This range reflects the anticipated compensation at the time of posting. Final compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, demonstrated skills, internal equity, and prevailing market conditions. Compensation discussions are encouraged throughout the hiring process.
