Job Description:
An employer is looking for a fully remote Coding Analyst for a contract role. This candidate must be able to pick up a benefit including by not limited to acupuncture, mammograms, safety beds, safety car seats, etc. and be able to tell what the industry standard codes are. This candidate will also determine procedure codes, what is needed to modify, if it is a preventer, and the type of detail of the codes. It is required that the candidate categorizes these codes and understands the policies and procedures that comes with them.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of medical coding or medical billing experience, preferably from insurance-based companies
Certified Medical Coder (CPC, RHIT, or RHIA)
Experience working with coding tools, but Encoder Pro is preferred
Medicare/Medicaid experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
TriCare experience - DoD, retired military and families
Claims/configuration experience
Encoder Pro coding tool
