  • Hourly pay: $35/hr
  • Worksite: Leading university (Palo Alto, CA 94304 - Hybrid, May require occasional local and overnight travel)
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
  • 32 hours/week, 2 Month Assignment, Possible extension/conversion

A leading university is seeking a Clinical Research Associate. The successful candidate will primarily collect/manage patient and laboratory data for clinical research projects, manage research project databases, develop flowcharts and other study-related documents, and complete study documents and case report forms. Clinical Research Associate Responsibilities:

  • Assemble study kits for study visits, monitor scheduling of procedures and charges, coordinate documents, and attend monitoring meetings with sponsors, acting as primary contact.
  • Ensure essential documentation and recording of patient and research data in appropriate files per institutional and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in monitoring visits and regulatory audits.

Clinical Research Associate Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in clinical research, with a preference for expertise in oncology, pediatric oncology, and early-phase studies.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related medical field.
  • Society of Clinical Research Associates or Association of Clinical Research Professionals certification is preferred.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate new information and adapt to changing environments.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Box, etc.
  • Proven ability to make meaningful contributions from the very beginning.

Shift:

  • 9 am-5 pm with some flexibility.
