Job Description:

Join Goodwin’s Global Operations Team, and make a real impact on a global scale. At Goodwin, we work with some of the world’s most successful and innovative investors, entrepreneurs and disruptors in the life sciences, private equity, real estate, technology and financial industries, and where they converge. As part of the Global Operations Team – all business professionals at the firm – you’ll collaborate with colleagues from varied backgrounds and experiences, fostering an environment where cross-functional learning, networking, and collaboration are at the core of what we do.

Here, we’re not just supporting a law firm; we’re partnering with attorneys and clients to deliver cutting-edge solutions in high-stakes litigation and dispute resolution, world-class regulatory compliance and advisory services, and complex transactions. Our commitment to integrity, ingenuity, agility, and ambition drives us, and we’re proud to have been recognised as the “Best Business Team” by The American Lawyer.

This is your opportunity to grow professionally in a dynamic, global environment, surrounded by forward-thinking peers.

We are seeking a Client Development (CD) Coordinator to support our Life Sciences practice. This person will also provide support to our Healthcare and MedTech groups. In this role, you will be a true partner to the CD Managers, spearheading content creation and collaborating with practice group leaders and lawyers on go-to-market strategies. Your efforts will help us enhance our brand positioning and develop both existing and new client relationships.

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with team to craft customized responses to pitches, RFPs/RFIs, and other marketing collateral for business opportunities and client meetings. Ensure that practice group/industry descriptions, web content, matter lists, case studies, and other marketing materials are compelling and up-to-date.

  • Help maintain and enhance key business development assets across life sciences and healthcare practices, including web content, client decks, brochures, partners bios, and internal databases.

  • Monitor and analyze activity with key clients and prospects. Evaluate the effectiveness of business development initiatives across the firm and recommend strategies to enhance their impact.

  • Actively support key client development initiatives by working with CD Managers to execute strategic plans, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

  • Work closely with the LS CD Team and Marketing Team to secure strategic accolades and rankings that elevate our firm's reputation.

  • Conduct research and analysis of various industries, clients, and prospects to provide valuable insights and support business development efforts.

  • Manage contacts and mailing lists in Microsoft Dynamics, leveraging suite of Client Relationship Management (“CRM”) tools.

  • Support campaigns through project management and data analysis, identifying business development opportunities from campaign data.

Who You Are:

  • BA, BS, or equivalent.

  • 2+ years of marketing or business development experience in a law firm, professional services organization, or corporate environment.

  • Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Exceptional client service skills with a positive attitude and the ability to think objectively.

  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information, and be comfortable articulating where you need help.

  • Willingness and ability to work with a wide variety of people and projects in a collective and collaborative manner.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects while prioritizing assignments effectively.

  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels and quickly establish trust.

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. Experience with Foundation, Microsoft Dynamics, or other CRM tools and databases is a plus
