Job Description:
The CFO Junior is responsible for managing the financial status of Station, a tech company developing digital solutions for a microfinance institution (Finvivir). Their mission is to ensure that each tech initiative delivers value equal to or greater than the allocated budget, guaranteeing sustainability and ROI for each project. This role blends financial analysis, value management, budget control, and strategic decision-making support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Station P&L, aligning revenues, costs, and expenses with strategic objectives.
- Estimate, monitor, and optimize the annual budget, constantly measuring ROI on digital initiatives.
- Financially evaluate new initiatives and products in collaboration with product, tech, and operations teams.
- Design and maintain financial dashboards to track KPIs: delivered value vs. investment.
- Coordinate monthly financial closes, forecasting, and projections with accounting.
- Serve as the liaison between the tech team (Station) and Finvivir's board to ensure financial clarity and impact focus.
- Identify opportunities for cost efficiency and value maximization in internal/external processes.
- Support the structuring of financial models, business cases, and scenario analysis.
Requirements
Desired Profile
- 2 to 4 years of experience in finance, FP&A, strategy, or consulting roles, ideally in tech or fintech companies.
- Strong understanding of P&L, budgeting, ROI analysis, and financial control.
- Analytical capacity to translate operational/product metrics into financial impact.
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience in high-uncertainty environments or evolving digital products is a plus.
- Strong communication and executive-level clarity to present insights and data.
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset focused on value creation.
