Are you looking to leverage your expertise to grow a role that offers varied and challenging work? Our company, a leading parent organization that owns and operates 330+ franchise locations across North America, seeks a Catastrophe Mobilization Specialist to support the Operations team.
Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting disaster response efforts? Paul Davis is seeking a Catastrophe Mobilization Specialist to provide direct administrative and operational support to the Senior Director of Catastrophe Services. This person will deploy to strike zone areas and canvas for commercial and residential sales, as well as evaluate the extent of the damage to help determine the amount of network response and give local guidance to the responding offices.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Identify and approach potential clients in disaster-affected areas to offer relevant services and solutions.
- Educate clients on available insurance claims, recovery services, and financial options.
- Build and maintain relationships with insurance adjusters, contractors, and emergency response teams.
- Conduct on-site assessments and provide clients with tailored solutions for their recovery needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and client interactions.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, insurance policies, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Training the Paul Davis network on the sales process to acquire more work.
- Must be available to travel to high-impact strike zones for training and preparedness efforts
- Other duties as assigned
Competency - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in insurance, restoration, or disaster recovery.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in high-stress, fast-moving environments, often in the aftermath of a catastrophe.
- Willingness to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice, to affected areas.
- Proficiency in insurance claims processes and disaster response is a plus.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable to changing circumstances.
- Proficiency in RMS software and basic computer skills.
- Computer literacy with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, Adobe, etc.)
- The ability to work under pressure
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to pass and maintain a satisfactory background check

Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Management or another field
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience in the restoration, insurance, or construction industry
Physical Requirement

- Fully remote position, requiring daily collaborations through virtual meetings and communication tools
- Must have access to a stable internet connection and a professional, remote workspace
- Must be able to deploy for up to two weeks at a time.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, fax machine, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Must be able to observe and perceive information on a computer and documents
- Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone or via video
- Occasionally will lift up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
Work Environment
The employee will be working remotely in their home office and will be exposed to normal conditions of air conditioning and heat. Most work will be conducted over email, video conferencing, and telephone. Employees must have access to a stable internet connection when working out of the office. The employee must use the provided VPN technology to securely connect remotely. The successful person must be productive with minimal supervision..
Travel
This position may require up to 50% travel. This position may require travel to franchise locations, trainings, and team meetings as well as frequent travel to strike zones, which may include storm-damaged areas where there may be limited cold or hot/warm air, in various locations throughout the US and Canada.
