About the Role

Job Description:
ASRC Federal is seeking a Business Development Operations Analyst in support of two of our Operating Group BD VPs and headquarter BD Operations VP. This position can either be located in Reston, VA or remote (must live within a commutable distance to Reston, VA).
Responsibilities:
- Support respective Operating Group (OG) BD VPs in tracking BD expenses for all selling and proposal activities by creating bottoms up new business cost estimates and providing weekly/monthly new business expenditure reports to the BD team and monitoring any abnormalities or trends
- Coordinate internal project ID setups, workforce entries, and monitoring correct charging for business development activities as necessary
- Establish and monitor vendor consultant agreements and managing invoices as required
- Manage Vendor employee set ups and hours approvals from the Capture Team
- Support any ASRC Federal BD HQ requests required of the OGs
- Monitor and ensure the accuracy of CRM Pipeline data
- Develop reporting capabilities from CRM to support the BD team; ability to take large, structure data sets and turn them into meaningful reports/insights
- Assist in the management of Opportunity Gate Reviews (monitoring of upcoming reviews needed, managing the storage of completed gate reviews in the designated SharePoint repository)
- Support any ASRC Federal BD HQ pipeline data requested from the OGs or Shared Services
- Provide overall process support for the BD team supporting the respective OGs
- Perform BD Operations support for the OGs including BD statistical analytics (pipeline metrics, win-loss), Pipeline health metrics, gap analysis
- Manage the awareness of potential Bookings/Revenue of Opportunities given value, period of performance and start date in order to create accurate forecasting
- Interface with BD to ensure capture process, procedures and training are provided to and adhered to by the BD team
- Prepare and deliver the OGs inputs for any annual/monthly/quarterly new business reviews
- Support the OG BD VPs to develop business rhythms and communication within the group to distribute BD information
- Support ASRC Federal BD HQ operations activity needed of the OGs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 5+ years business analyst/process experience in a federal contracting environment
- Experience using MS Office and databases to generate reports, presentations, metrics and other data for the team
- Experience with Python or R for data analytics tasks
- Familiarity using a Microsoft Dynamics CRM or other Opportunity Tracking Tools
- Familiarity using Deltek CostPoint or similar ERP software
- Familiarity using data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Ability to take initiative and proactively drive processes and deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership
- Solid financial background in cost forecasting, budgeting and tracking
- Solid understanding of the business development lifecycle, government procurements
