DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role
We are looking for a motivated and results driven BDE is to support the Vendor Manager in identifying, engaging and qualifying key Extreme Networks partner accounts to drive and grow.
This is a hybrid role based in either our Alton , Mansfield or Newmarket offices , which plays a crucial role in generating leads, setting appointments and building relationships with our partner base. With a clear drive to increase New Business and upsell new opportunities in the current and new partner base.

As the Business Development Executive , you will:

Adhere to KPI's around SLA's, call stats /time, financial and productivity targets

Be responsible for achieving growth and hitting sales targets.

Profile organisations and individuals through various means (LinkedIn etc.)

Uncover and explore new opportunities across new channels to increase market share.

Arrange face to face meetings (for EXN/Extreme Networks channel team) with potential / existing Partners to enable the Extreme Networks partner programme and develop EXN Capabilities.

Develop an in depth understanding of the Extreme Networks Portfolio, to present to target and aligned partners

Forecast and manage key deals, working with finance and credit where necessary

Drive attendance to key sales and technical days as well as webinars in the events calendar, supporting with content / presence where required

Manage and maintain the proactive tracker to show progress in aligned accounts
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you
The ideal Business Development Executive :
- Proven track record as a hunter in a sales or business development role, with demonstrable success in generating new business.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Tenacious, resilient, and unafraid to pick up the phone to make outbound calls daily.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to handle objections effectively.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Exceptional administrative skills
- Ability to learn quickly
- Take responsibility for personal development with a strong desire to work to and surpass targets
- Have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
- Ability to problem solve, identifying a client's needs and respond accordingly
- Self-starter who can motivate themselves and takes a positive approach to sales
- Knowledge of IT Industry - knowledge of our vendors would be excellent
- Previous use of NetSuite CRM system.
