Job Type: Permanent
Role Purpose: To support property acquisition and growth initiatives in Japan. In this role, you'll assist in sourcing new properties, building relationships with property owners, and contributing to Cove's mission of creating high-quality, flexible living spaces.
What you'll be doing:
- Assist in executing the property acquisition strategy to grow Cove's portfolio in Japan
- Support property sourcing efforts by researching opportunities and reaching out to property owners, agents, and developers
- Help with the preparation and review of property documents, including Letters of Intent (LoI) and Agreements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth property onboarding
- Track and report property acquisition KPIs and performance metrics weekly
- Maintain and improve relationships with property owners and landlords
- Support the renewal and extension of property contracts
- Contribute to refining acquisition processes and best practices to improve efficiency
What makes you a great fit:
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, real estate, or a related field.
- A degree in Real Estate, Business, Economics, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Japanese.
- Interest in real estate and knowledge of the local residential or hospitality market is a plus.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Sheets, or similar tools.
