Job Description:
FAs a Business Consulting Senior Associate, you’ll be responsible for business process analysis, requirements definition efforts for remediating gaps, cost and cycle time analysis/remediation, and the communication and change management required to ensure the success of our clients – all with the resources, environment, and support to help you excel. Specifically, you’ll assist healthcare providers on improving revenue cycle, operations and supply chain, physician integration, information technology enablement (e.g., Epic implementations) and regulatory and reimbursement processes.
From day one, you’ll collaborate with our Business Consulting Practice to help clients transform their finance and operations functions, both process-related and reporting, as well as design and implement sustainable models that streamline operations, and comply to business needs. This role looks beyond just control points and focuses on Process Optimization changes that achieve necessary business transformation. We deliver tangible business solutions which are a direct result of our strong industry experience.
Your day-to-day may include:
- Utilize previous consulting and healthcare industry experience to help organizations set and achieve their long-term goals
- Perform accurate analysis and designing effective solutions to a variety of client issues
- Work directly with clients to address their issues and acting as the day-to-day relationship contact
- Work closely with Grant Thornton teams to promptly identify and resolve client problems or issues
- Develop and maintain strong internal and client relationships to provide maximum value to our clients through the delivery of our full solution
- Team with partners, senior managers, and managers on proposals and business development calls
- Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization)
- Other duties as assigned
You have the following technical skills or qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Health/Hospital administration required
- Minimum 2 years of work-related experience in financial management and/or consulting or experience required
- Industry recognized professional certifications required, Epic and/or Cerner experience or certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills and ability to perform quantitative analysis and develop business cases
- Process analysis, Reporting & Business Intelligence, Data Analysis & Reconciliation
- Working knowledge of Close-the-books, Chart-of-Accounts, Treasury, Financial Planning and Analysis & Financial Benchmarking
- Knowledge of banking operations and related regulatory issues
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and simultaneous projects in a rapidly growing practice
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills
- Can travel as needed. Expected travel is up to 80%
The base salary for this position in our New York City (Manhattan Office) only is $103,700-$155,500.
The base salary for this position in our Los Angeles office only is $103,700-$155,500.
The base salary for this position in our Chicago office only is $96,000-$144,000.
