We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Specialist to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring accurate and timely billing for our merchants, processing billing-related inquiries, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have experience in billing, a basic understanding of accounting practices, and excellent communication skills.

This is a hybrid position 3x/week in our Royal Oak, MI office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process credit memo requests and subscription adjustments based on requests from Support Teams.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of merchant billing.
• Investigate and escalate billing discrepancies as needed.
• Respond to and resolve internal billing inquiries via SFDC, Slack, and Gmail in a timely manner.
• Provide copies of merchant invoices and credit memos upon request.
• Assist with additional accounting and finance functions.

• Previous experience as a Billing Specialist or in a similar role is required.
• A basic understanding of accounting and billing principles and practices.
• Exceptional math skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite is required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Compensation:

• Our hourly pay ranges from $19.00 - $25.00 per hour for this position. Offers will be reflective of the candidates location and experience.
