Job Summary/Basic Function

The Bilingual Office Assistant/Receptionist is an important position at the WSU Community Education Center (CEC) because this team member is the first person customers meet at the center. The qualified candidate will possess strong interpersonal and listening skills, and have the ability to engage with customers from all backgrounds. Responsibilities include: Greeting/assisting customers with information and registration for programs at the WSU CEC; answering phone calls and emails; performing data entry and other basic office duties as assigned. This position is part time. Must be available to work evenings (up until 9:00 pm). 15 hours/week.

**This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time, the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.

Required Qualifications

Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Applications.
Quick learner, willing to be flexible in a constantly growing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

1 year office assistant experience.
