OVERVIEW

Alera Group is looking for a Benefits Analyst. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor client issues, deliverables, and support complex accounts and projects

  • Assist with key internal processes and deliver client-facing service

  • Apply mathematical and analytical skills to support client strategies

  • Review benefit communications and research compliance-related inquiries

  • Foster strong relationships with clients, carriers, vendors, and internal teams

  • Pursue ongoing development in employee benefits and manage assigned projects

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in a benefits-related role

  • Life and Health License, preferred. 
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities

  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities

  • Comfortable working independently, collaboratively, and across all levels of an organization

  • Effective communication skills and openness to feedback

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel skills
