Title: Secret AWS Sr. Cloud Architect

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. AWS Cloud Architect to join our team, working two days on-site in Aberdeen, MD, and supporting three remote days per week. To contribute to the mission and environment most successfully, we need a solution-based, autonomous individual to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable AWS cloud architectures. On-site days will be spent interfacing directly with government customers to develop and manage solutions that meet their needs with innovative and effective cloud strategies. You will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure best practices and compliance while optimizing cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security. Your role includes developing and maintaining cloud automation scripts and tools, providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members, and troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.

Compensation:: $70hr to $85hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

* 8-10+ years in cloud architecture or a related role.

* Strong knowledge of AWS services and best practices.

* Expertise developing and maintaining cloud automation tools and utilizing scripting languages (Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, ect.).

* Experience Designing and implementing a scalable, secure, and reliable AWS cloud architecture.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

* Active Secret Level Clearence or Higher

* AWS Solution Architect certification

* Experience with AWS Gov. Cloud Platform

* Experience using containerization technology (Docker, Kubernetes)

* Prior experience with CBRND systems

* Prior experience with Mission Command systems
